Our esteemed panelists will share their perspectives on emerging opportunities, the blurring lines between traditional gaming and esports, and how you can position yourself to be at the vanguard of this evolving landscape.

Codie Childs

Music Supervisor, PlayStation Studios, UK

Before working at PlayStation, Codie supervised various music projects in film, TV and advertising, including as Associate Music Supervisor for the documentary series Uprising (director McQueen, Rogan) and the VR experience On The Morning You Wake (to the End of the World). She also supported campaigns for companies such as Nike, Mercedes-Benz, John Lewis and the International Red Cross.
Codie is now a Senior Music Supervisor at PlayStation Studios. She works on music for videogames as well as global advertising campaigns for Sony. Recent highlights include the ‘Live from PS5’ campaign and the updated PlayStation Plus.

Julia Chourgnoz-Villano

Music Marketing Manager, Ubisoft, FR

Julia joined the Ubisoft Music team in 2022 with the mission to amplify all the developer’s original music creations and artist deals. Previously Brand Marketing Manager, she created campaigns for brands such as Assassin’s Creed, Just Dance, Far Cry and Skull and Bones. Julia’s recent notable music collaborations and campaigns include the 2023 GRAMMY campaign for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla: Dawn of Ragnarök (winner of the first ever GRAMMY award dedicated to video game music), an original song “Skull and Bones” by HomeFree, original collaborations with 2WEI for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and a custom song for The Crew Motorfest with Spinnin’ Records and Tujamo.

Director, KeokeN Interactive, NL

Paul Deetman is co-founder and director of game studio KeokeN Interactive and music company Hunchback Music. With passion for creating immersive experiences Paul and his team created the award winning action adventure games: Deliver Us The Moon and Deliver Us Mars. Hunchback Music has contributed to trailer music projects for Remedy Entertainment, Marvel and 20th Century Fox.
