Tess van der Velde (1992) is a film composer, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. She has been writing music for commercials, TV and film since 2014. Her style is best described as dreamy and light-hearted from the outside and dark from the inside and would be best categorized as electronic music. She likes to combine genres like pop, classical, folk, indie, punk, or anything really, to create authentic scores. Tess composed the score for the popular series and Netflix film Anne+ and wrote, sang and produced the well-received title song Figure Out, that later got its own release and videoclip.
