Tijmen Bergman grew up in a musical family. Not entirely unexpectedly, in the 1990s he was inspired to make music himself. From this strong need arose the band la Boutique Fantastique, with which he released a record in 2011 and toured the Netherlands. In addition, since 2005 he has been composing music for documentaries, films, animations, commercials, theatre and in recent years also many podcasts. Bergman never gets bored with sound. Audio is addictive. The versatility in which sounds can be approached, allows him to change roles every time. One day he lives as a composer, the next as a sound archivist and the next he takes on the role of a synth nerd. Tijmen Bergman has worked on the documentary “Limited shelf life” (2007), the podcast “Laura H.” (2018), the podcast “El Tarangu” (2019) and both award-winning animation film “Luce and the Rock” (2022) and podcast “Moslima” (2022).
