“Hi, I’m Pien Logtens, 23 years old, composer and pianist. My passion for music started at a young age and led me to my own sound. As a composer I create intuitive music, from piano pieces to orchestral works, influenced by emotion and story.”
“At the age of fifteen I started at the conservatory in Maastricht, where I discovered my love for composing. I wrote for the FAA Bigband, the Matangi String Quartet and Orkest de Ereprijs, among others.”
“In my performances I focus on the lack of real contact: listening, talking, really seeing each other. This theme is reflected in my interdisciplinary productions about hooping among young people, the stigma surrounding ADHD and overstimulation in the digital world. They were performed in TivoliVredenburg, Parktheater Eindhoven and Theater Oostpool, among others.”
