Judith Rijsenbrij is a singer/songwriter and producer. She started playing music as a child, playing the piano and singing in the children’s choir of the National Opera & Ballet. She studied Performing Arts at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp (2015) for one year before going to the Pop department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam. There, she graduated in 2020 as a composer, keyboardist, and singer. She creates music under the alias puntjudith, produces electronic music, composes music for theatre, and writes music for film. Her latest film, Lawines, premiered in 2022 at the Nederlands Filmfestival. As puntjudith, she creates energetic music with bold, raw sounds, heavy beats, pulsing basslines, writing about both personal and existential themes. Blending film, dance, fashion, and music, she collaborates with a large team of young creatives to build an immersive visual world around her music.
