Fons Beijer (born in Tilburg, 1998) graduated in 2023 from the Master’s program in Composing for Film. While studying for his Bachelor’s in Composition for the Media at the Utrecht School of the Arts, Fons gained experience in the media industry. He did an internship in Los Angeles with film composer Vidjay Beerepoot. In late 2020, he composed the music for the teen drama TV series “De Slet van 6 VWO” (AVROTROS), and his work earned him a nomination for the Buma Music in Motion, New Talent Award. In the last 2 years, during his studies at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, Fons has worked on several student films from the Netherlands Film Academy. For two of those projects, he got the chance to get his music performed and recorded by Orchestra in Skopje, North Macedonia.
