Elena Pisano is an Italian pianist and composer based in Amsterdam. Her music spans jazz, classical, hip hop, and contemporary electronic styles. She began playing piano at the age of six, initially studying classical music before exploring improvisation and other genres. In 2016, she moved to the Netherlands and graduated in Jazz Piano and Composing for Film from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Elena is active as a film composer and performs with various groups in the Netherlands. Her compositions blend different tonalities, rhythms, and textures, bridging the familiar with the experimental. In 2024, she was nominated for the Music in Media Awards in the New Talent category for her score for the short film Daar Moet Nog Wat Mee.
