André Schoorlemmer is a music composer from the Netherlands where his studio is located in a 19th century former prison. He works for film but also produces music for documentary, theater en and other visual outings. His film scores are characterized by a melancholic, dramatic and a personal touch. His style can be best described as neo-classical music with experimental and electronic influences.
In 2018 his music for the movie Shift! premiered at the Cannes Film festival. In 2020 he received a Bronze Award at the Queen Palm International Films festival for best Music feature film for his latest score. His last feature film was Capo di Famiglia in 2022.
