Buma Music in Motion and the Netherlands Film Festival (NFF) are committed to ensure more and deeper connections between young filmmakers and the music sector. One of the initiatives that supports this commitment is NFF Script & Score. The core idea of this program is that young filmmakers and composers get acquainted with each other and their work. Composers are asked to write music based on screenplays in development and present themselves and their work to filmmakers. These meet-ups between creative talents should lead to future collaborations and enrich the Netherlands’ thriving and innovative audiovisual industries. - Please make sure you are available on 23 September (13:30 – 15:30). These sessions are irl, so online sessions are not possible.
What can you expect?
- You’ll get to chance to meet with filmmakers that have started with their own projects.
- You will compose 2 demos for two of the selected film makers.
- Some projects are in early stages of development. Please be open minded and see these meetings as a network opportunity and talk about the creative and music process.
- BMIM and NFF facilitate the meetings for you but there are no guarantees for collaborations please also see this as an opportunity to broaden your network
- There is a small pitch fee available.
- You’ll receive an NFF Pro pass accreditation.
