At the Holland Film Meeting during the Netherlands Film Festival, national and international film professionals come together to network. We can offer 4 spots to media composers to be a part of this networking program. Are you a film composer that has been graduated for at least two years and have 2-4 movie credits to your name? About Holland Film Meeting & REwriteIT residency
During Netherlands Film Festival, 4 mid-career composers will get the chance to meet with selected film projects and/or producers of Holland Film Meeting and CineSud REwriteIT residency.
The Holland Film Meeting (HFM) is the international program of the Netherlands Film Festival focused on the promotion and development of Dutch audiovisual projects and professionals with international potential. The program welcomes fiction, nonfiction and interactive at all project stages.
This year the Netherlands Film Festival, Filmfestival Oostende and CineSud are joining forces for the first time to present a new cross-border development program for screenwriters working on their first and second feature films. Within REwriteIT screenwriters will follow an 11-month development program full of (mini)treatments, writers rooms, masterclasses and more.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for 4 composers who are mid-career and have at least 2 to 4 credits to their name.

- Short motivation (max 150 words)
- Link to recent work (max 2 examples, audio files preferred)
- Please make sure you are available on 22, 23 and 25 September.
What can you expect?
- You’ll get to chance to meet with Holland Film Meeting participants in one on one meetings (live or online).
- You’ll get to chance to meet with REwriteIT participants in one on one meetings (live or online).
- Some projects are in the early stages of development. Please be open-minded.
- BMIM and NFF HFM facilitate the meetings for you, but there are no guarantees for collaborations, please also see this as an opportunity to broaden your network.
- You will receive accreditation for HFM Profs, which gives you access to the HFM Professionals Program, including film screenings and the networking drink.
