Bobby Boermans
Director, NLAfter completing his education at the Netherlands Film & Television Academy, he studied at the prestigious American Film Institute Conservatory in Hollywood, Los Angeles. In 2011 he made his film debut with the thriller Claustrofiobia, followed in 2012 by his second film App. It was the first theatrical film in the world to use 2nd-screen, and the remake rights were sold to Hollywood. In 2012 he started as co-founder of the production company 2CFILM (Hartenstraat, Jack Ordert een Broertje, Oh Baby, Heart Struggle, Casanova’s, Thunderdome, Whitestar).
In 2013 he made the TV drama ROFFA (nominated Prix D’europe 2014). He then directed 4 seasons of the popular drama series Nieuwe Buren (based on the book by Saskia Noort) for Videoland. Nieuwe Buren was remade in France (M6) and was the first official purchase of Amazon Prime in the Netherlands. In 2018 he directed the successful hit Mocro Maffia, again for Videoland. It was sold to 23 countries and reached a record 50 million streams. Mocro Maffia was awarded the Golden Calf for best TV Drama 2021, the VIDEO AWARD for best on-demand series, and a DUTCH DIRECTORS GUILD nomination. Bobby also directs commercials for clients such as Heineken, Ajax, Albert Heijn, Audi, Sanex, Honda, Holland Casino, Soldaat van Oranje, Tommy Hilfiger & KPN. He is a board member of the DAFF (Dutch Academy For Film) and a member of EFA (European Film Academy).
Chayenne van den Hazel
Music Supervisor / Cognitive Musicologist, Bell Music Supervision, NLChayenne graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a degree in Cognitive Musicology. After her graduation she gained practical experience in the music industry through two consecutive internships at Tribe Management and CTM Publishing, while also expanding her knowledge with a Music Business course at SAE Amsterdam. During her second internship, she met Music Supervisor Laura Bell and quickly fell in love with the world of Music Supervision, which combines all her interests: music, moving images, cognition and administration. Since working at Bell Music Supervision, Chayenne has assisted Laura on many films and series like Steve McQueen’s Occupied Citry and Johan Nijenhuis’ Verliefd op Bali, and has taken on the role as primary music supervisor for the likes of MTV’s Ex on the Beach: Double Dutch, Barbara Visser’s Alreadymade and Sarada Sarita’s Q5: The Quintessentials.
Einar Ihle
Music & Sound Design lead, Media.Monks, NLEinar Ihle, multi-instrumentalist, producer and platinum awarded composer with over twenty years of experience in the music industry. Starting playing the violin and piano at the age of six and later strings and electronics in rock bands. After a period of sonic branding for radio stations, he started composing music for advertising and is now Music & Sound Design lead at Media.Monks.
Frank Wever
Producer, New Amsterdam Film Company, NLAfter graduating from the University of Amsterdam with his Masters in Documentary & Fiction including courses focusing on sound in cinema, Frank joined production company New Amsterdam Film Company. In the midst of this company, he further explores his interest in dramaturgy and sound within narrative film & documentary, while always looking for the crossover between arthouse and mainstream film. Recently, New Ams released the first Dutch vampire film ‘We are animals,’ documentary ‘A Gabber heads home,’ and feature film ‘Hardcore Never Dies’.
Joey Boeters
Creative partner / CO founder, Happiness Amsterdam, NLGrowing up in the Tel Sell era, Joey always wanted to become an inventor. But after failing to invent the next Quick ’n Brite or Boogy Bass, he guided his creativity elsewhere: Advertising. Joey aims to do advertising like Dennis Bergkamp did football. Because solving problems makes people content, but solving problems in a creative and surprising way makes people happy.
Josie Taalman
Head of Production, KeyFilm, NLKeyFilm develops and produces feature films and drama series in close collaboration with writers and directors for all platforms in a variety of genres for multiple audiences. Founder Hanneke Niens is an Oscar nominated producer, she and her team have an extensive international network of co-producers and financiers. KeyFilm projects are a.o. the feelgood trilogy Soof (20 million box office), drama series Swanenburg (NPO Award most streamed series 2021), war drama Line of Fire (Golden Film 100.000 visitors), award winning Nena (Berlinale Special Mention Jury Award 2015) and coproductions Huda’s Salon (by Oscar nominated director Hany Abu-Assad) and Queens (Venice Critics Week 2022).
Julia Weyts
Sound Director & Lead, Sonhouse Amsterdam, NLFrom playing the drums as a teenager to DJ’ing during Law school, Julia has always been driven by sound, music and voice. After her master she helped Epidemic Sound develop the European market and focused on music over the past decade. With that background and drive she co-launched Sonhouse Amsterdam with 1 clear mission: to curate the right sound for your project.
Karen Spearing
Music Supervisor for TV & Music Consultant, UKKaren Spearing is an independent music supervisor based in the UK. With a background in creative and management roles at Banijay Group, Sony Music Publishing, Ace Records & BSKYB, she brings a dual perspective of both the music and TV production industries. Credits include BAFTA winning comedy Alma’s Not Normal (BBC); James May: Our Man In India (Amazon); The Circle (Netflix); The Fence (Indie Feature). Karen is a full member of the UK & European Guild of Music Supervisors and part of the BIFA (British Independent Film Awards) Craft voting panel.
Kathleen Wallfisch
Music Supervisor, Music In Vision, DEKathleen Wallfisch is a Music Supervisor and former cellist, graduating from The Royal Academy of Music in London. Based in Berlin and London, her company, Music In Vision, contracts musicians for on-camera work. Recent work includes Napoleon (Apple Studios), Gladiator 2 (Paramount), both directed by Ridley Scott, and a German documentary, Die Zeit Verbrechen for X-Filme/Paramount Plus.

Mikki Sindhunata
Director, DPPLR, NLMikki Sindhunata is a Netherlands-based director. Graduated from the Willem de Kooning Academy. With roots in the dance world, she develops a sensitive directing style and performative film language that originates from movement and music. In combination with her art background she owns a unique visual style with a strong eye for detail. Physical storytelling translates directly to emotion, and is therefore often a great way to articulate a story or brand’s message. During her career she worked with clients like IKEA, ECCO, Zalando, KLABU, Nike, Heineken, Vodafone, Ronald McDonald House, Libresse, Top Notch, Sony Music, Philips, VPRO.
Mira Mendel
CEO / Producer, Interakt, NLMira Mendel graduated from the University of Amsterdam with a Film and Television degree. Afterwards she attended New York Film Academy for a film making course. During her studies she worked for advertising company 180 Amsterdam, an international advertising agency with many international clients. After returning from New York City she started working at Interakt as a producer and CEO for documentaries, series and features. As core activity Interakt aims for primarily high-quality, in addition to realizing artistic, socially relevant, historical, literary, musical, accessible and intellectual, also educational documentary films and later drama productions.
Nicky Onstenk
Producer, IJswater Films, NLNicky Onstenk graduated from the Netherlands Film Academy in 2019 and soon after started working as a producer for IJswater Films. She has since achieved success in producing notable short films like “Spotless” (Winner of the Berlinale Crystal Bear 2022) and “Magma” (Berlinale Generation 2023), along with documentaries including “Dunya” (2021) and “Luc” (2022). In April 2024, the thriller/horror feature “Pariah” is set to have its international premiere at the Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival. Additionally, several new features are currently in development.
Polona Kasal
Music Supervisor, Resister Music, UKWith a background spanning from NTS radio to being a musical artist and electronic music enthusiast – Polona will find the deeper cuts you’ve always wanted but didn’t know existed. As a Music Supervisor at London based music agency RESISTER, Polona always seeks to bring a Creative left field approach to sourcing music for brands.
Tom Cathcart
Music Producer, Heavy Duty Projects, UKTom Cathcart leads the UK and Europe arm of Heavy Duty Projects, a global original music and music supervision agency with studios across London, New York and Los Angeles. As music producer, he is the creative principal on advertising projects for brands including the BBC, Samsung, the NHS, Amazon, IKEA and many more. Prior to launching Heavy Duty London, he worked as a producer for advertising music company Studio Salamanca. Tom began his career at NTS Radio, where he still hosts a monthly show called Last Resort, and runs a label of the same name.
Tom Fekkes & Yanick Pilgram
Post supervisor, Pupkin, NLTom & Yanick both work at Pupkin Film BV as Post Production Supervisor. Together they supervise and coordinate all post-production, inhouse for Pupkin Film BV, Juliet at Pupkin & DOCS by Pupkin.
