Meet the Music Supervisors & Sync Reps (One-on-One Sessions)

ESNS: Grote zaal, De Oosterpoort (Groningen)
This activity has already taken place.

The final season of Stranger Things is already a hot topic thanks to an ABBA classic. Would Saltburn have had the same impact without that unforgettable final scene set to Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s “Murder on the Dancefloor”, or our very own Mason with “Perfect (Exceeder)”? Last year, Babygirl also proved that a film’s atmosphere and identity are largely shaped by a striking, carefully curated soundtrack – whether through an original score or syncs (like George Michael’s “Father Figure” in this film).

All these tracks shot back into the charts years after their original release, showing how a single scene can completely revive a song. Music shapes stories – whether in film, series or advertising – and one recognisable track can instantly make a brand or scene unforgettable.

Music supervisors, often called the “wizards of sound”, have a keen ear for the track that truly brings a scene to life. Whether it’s for a trailer, series, film or commercial, their choices lift the story to a higher level. Sync reps play a crucial role in placing existing music in exactly the right context. Sync has therefore become an essential pillar of the modern music industry.

For the fourth year in a row, Buma Music in Motion presents Meet the Music Supervisors & Sync Reps: One-on-One Sessions at ESNS. Do you have an ESNS Conference ticket? Don’t miss this chance to connect with some of the best music supervisors and sync reps working today!

Applications for Meet the Music Supervisors & Sync Reps (One-on-One Sessions) at ESNS 2026 are closed. Deadline was January 6, 23:59h.
