Thomas van der Burg (1995) is a Dutch film and media composer. From 2014 to 2018 he attended the Rock Academy in Tilburg and did an internship with composer Joep Sporck. There he assisted him with the work for the cinema film Sinterklaas en het Gouden Hoefijzer. In 2019, Thomas created the leader music for the television program Jacobine (KRO-NCRV). In 2020 he was nominated for the BMIM New Talent Award.
In 2022 he composed the music for the film Ome Cor by Dutch actor Martin van Waardenberg, which premiered in Rotterdam on December 12. In addition to his work in film and television, Thomas was also involved in creating music for various production libraries.
Whether he writes for a film, a TV production or a library album, he does it with a lot of passion and love for music.
