Roel Gosto Vermeer, better known as GOSTO, is a creative and versatile musician who produces his music himself. Under the name GOSTO he has toured Europe and Japan and performed at Dutch TV show De Wereld Draait Door and as support act for various artists, including Jamie Lidell, Oscar and the Wolf and Thomas Dybdahl. He graduated cum laude from the Jazz Department of the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Jazz Vocal as his main subject. After graduating, he broadened his horizon by composing music for commercials and (circus) theater performances. GOSTO’s music takes listeners on an adventurous journey to unknown places. His passion for travel and adventure can be heard in his music, surprising the listener with unexpected twists and new sounds. Always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow as an artist and person, he continues to renew and inspire himself.
