Aisling Brouwer is a Dutch/Irish film composer, producer and artist. She recently wrote the score for Apple TV’s new drama series The Buccaneers – starring Christina Hendricks (Mad Men), Kristine Froseth (The Assistant) and Alisha Boe (13 Reasons Why) – with her award-winning duo AVAWAVES. She also composed the soundtrack for Rubika Shah’s BIFA-nominated, Berlinale & Grierson Award-winning anti-fascist punk hit, White Riot.
Aisling grew up in The Netherlands where she started composing at a young age before moving to the UK to study Music & Film Studies at the University of Sussex. She received a scholarship to study composition with a focus on film scoring in Los Angeles, before pursuing an MA in Composition for Film & TV.
