The Buma Music in Media Awards are the awards for composers and producers who have proven themselves in the previous year with their compositions for or use of music in media. The music composers and producers nominated in twelve categories have been assessed by the expert jury of 35 members.

This year the jury consisted of, among others, Bob Zimmerman (composer, also chairman of the jury), Stephen Emmer (composer), Claire van Daal (NFF), Martijn Bosch (Rembrandt House Museum), Marion Slewe (Film Academy), Marcel Albers (Dutch Music Export Foundation) and Susanne van Nierop (Adformatie). They had the hard job to select te winners out of all the nominees.
